Kokopelli vzw was founded in 2006 and consists of a diverse group of volunteers with a passion for world music, festivals and conviviality. We love to organize together for any target group. We are all about spontaneity, togetherness and having a good time.
Kokopelli wants to make people aware of our world, through a festival and more than music.
On the American continent, Kokopelli is a god of fertility. Kokopelli wants to give people a taste of the range of cultures on our globe. For these can bring fertility, in the form of celebration and music!
Kokopelli is right in the middle of today's world. Kokopelli offers a view of the world around us and wants people to think about the global impact of their own lifestyle.
This culminates in the annual festival in May. But Kokopelli is more, with actions & communication about world citizenship throughout the year.
Kokopelli is run entirely by enthusiastic volunteers who, with the support of our partners (governments, businesses, NGOs ...), bring the world closer.

Kokopelli wants to introduce people to other cultures in order to promote peaceful coexistence between different population groups and cultures.
We play world music, serve food from different cultures and provide a platform for organisations working for diversity.
As an organisation, we strive to reflect our diverse society at all our events.
Kokopelli wants to be there for everyone. Throughout the festival, in addition to performances, we also organise numerous workshops and entertainment for all ages.
We provide ramps and adapted toilets for wheelchair users. There is a loop for the hearing impaired on all stages. For young families, we provide a care room. With the UiTPAS, discounts can be obtained for those who are less well-off.
All are welcome!
Kokopelli wants to keep its ecological footprint as small as possible.
We only use reusable plates and cups.
We make soft drinks on site with syrup and tap water in order to avoid wastage.
Decoration is built as much as possible with recycled materials.
We replace the bouncy castle with creative playing material.
In this way we try to make our visitors aware and encourage them to sort waste.
