Kokopelli is nothing without volunteers. Every year we look for enthusiasts who see fit to do one or more shifts. Something for you? Discover the shifts.

Become a volunteer?
Organising a festival is not something you do alone, Kokopelli is unthinkable without the help of our many fantastic volunteers and staff!
Would you like to be part of the family? Are you a logistical genius, a social media prodigy, a would-be programme maker or do you tap the perfect pint... then we want you!
We are always looking for volunteers for all kinds of tasks, both festival volunteers (bar/logistics/security tasks, ...) and build-up and breakdown volunteers. Also people who want to get involved in one of our working groups are always welcome!

employees
Do you see drawing up shift schedules and organising an entrance as a challenge that you would like to take up? Then you are at the right place at workgroup employees!
You look for the best security company and think about how visitors to the bars can best be served.
You help spread the word in order to fill all the shifts and you follow up the employee lists. During the festival, you receive volunteers, brief them on their tasks and keep an eye on the smooth running of the shifts.
logistics
As a logistician, you decide what the festival will look like!
You help draw up the ground plan. You ensure that all logistical material, from stages and bar elements to truss constructions, is ordered and present.
You are responsible for the management of our own equipment and buy/rent extra equipment when needed.
Before and after the festival, you coordinate the build-up and breakdown. As the point of contact during the festival, you are responsible for all logistic problems and their solutions.
decoration
Are you at a loss for what to do with your creativity?
Are you looking for a way to go crazy? As part of the workgroup decoration, you will create the unique Kokopelli atmosphere on our grounds.
You craft scenery, paint and varnish it. You will meet regularly in the work shed to build and bricolage and also know how to set up fun collaborations with other artists. During the construction you decide how our terrain will look like!
communication
Are you always looking for the best way to get a message across? Are you ready to develop your graphic skills further?
Is social media totally your thing and can you handle a website?
Then team communication is for you!
During the festival, you will accompany the camera crew and photographers. You will bring our festival into view online and spread content through various media. You are the physical and digital business card of our festival!
programming
You are completely at home with the global sounds and know which DJs can set the house on fire?
Then you will undoubtedly want to participate in the musical programming of Kokopelli!
Together, we work out a programme that will appeal to every type of visitor. You also help with the framework: you write texts for the communication, you help determine the PA and backline and you think along about the practical stage organisation and artist handling.
During the festival, you will be responsible for welcoming the bands and taking care of the organisation of the stage and backstage.
more than music
With your heart for other cultures and sustainability, you determine the annual theme and develop actions around it. This applies both to the festival and throughout the year.
You set up partnerships with organisations and associations. You put together fun children's activities and decide what the visitors can eat at the world market. You look for ways to further reduce the ecological footprint of our festival.
During the festival, you will supervise the workshops and stalls. Thanks to you, everyone has the time of their lives!
sponsorship
As a born pitcher, you can tell a story like the best of them. You work out sponsorship packages that are win-win for us and for interested companies. You draw up a list of interesting companies and organise sponsor days to convince them. You translate our promotion into marketing opportunities.
During the festival you will organise the sponsor reception and make sure that each company gets its promised visibility.

Organising our festival cannot be done without the support of various partners. We can count on the support of various authorities as well as many local traders and companies from the region.
